Southside’s motto is
“A Home for Every Heart”. We try to live that out as a youth group.
Our goals are simple:
We want to GROW-We want to grow as a church, we want to grow closer together, and we want to grow closer to God.
We want to SERVE-Our community, our church, and our Lord
We want to SHARE-Our time, our love, our faith, and the gospel. We want the world to know what God has done for us.
We want to BUILD-We want to build a faith that last not just in High school but throughout College and Adult life. We want to build faithful Christians that will propel the church into great things.
Some of our events:
Sunday Morning Bible Study-At 9:15 AM every Sunday morning you can find us in the Youth Room talking about the Bible. We gear up for the week and discuss how we can be lights in our schools and communities. We are currently asking that all attend please wear a mask!
Wednesday Bible Study-At 6:30 PM every Wednesday we will be in the Youth Room catching up each other on how our weeks have been and getting a little boost to get us through the rest of the week! This summer starting on June 1st we will meet on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM for our summer series.
Challenge Youth Conference– This is a weekend event in Pigeon Forge, TN dedicated to challenging our youth to do great things.
Celebration-This is a weekend retreat that we attend every fall. We celebrate all weekend by worshipping God and learning how to serve Him better.

Big Reedy Christian Camp-A week at camp staffed by members of Southside for our youth and the youth of surrounding areas. Camp is a time to disconnect from the world and reconnect with God, His creation, and in an environment that encourages us to get to know Him better. It’s an awesome event for anyone from second grade and up! Dates for 2021 camp are June 27th- July 2nd.
Toys for Tots-A project to help kids in need at Christmas that involves our kids buying presents for other kids in the community, a meal and then time in worship together.
