PrimeTimers is a ministry group of the Southside Church of Christ. We area Bible Class committed to God and trying tomake difference for good in the world we live. We use II Timothy 2: 21 as a theme verse to direct and inspire us. Paul says for us to be:
“Instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work”.
Therefore we believe that God has called us to be useful to him and others and be prepared to do any good work.
PrimeTimers are involved in the following ministries of service:
- Jail Ministry at the Christian County Jail
- Preparation of Appreciation Bags to schools andcommunity
- Support Ukraine Orphan
- Back-To-School Bash for families in need.
- “Turkey Blitz” feeding families at Thanksgiving
- Community Garden
- Sponsor and conduct a annual Spiritual Retreat
- Sponsor and conduct Annual Family Retreat
- We also assist other ministries at Southside:
- Special Needs parties and activities
- Vacation Bible School
- Camp Can Do
We meet each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. for Bible Study and would love to have you come and be a “PrimeTimer”.
